Many of the world’s passionate driving enthusiasts probably don’t recognize the names of these and the other spectacular new private motorsports circuits appearing around the world — but they soon will.

The growing list of private motorsports circuits is demanding the attention of the motorsport’s world — exclusive, challenging circuits are earning a place in any conversation about “the best racetracks in the world.”

THEIR NAMES MAY BE NEW, BUT THE IMPACT THAT PRIVATE MOTORSPORTS CIRCUITS ARE HAVING HAS ALREADY STRETCHED AROUND THE GLOBE.

Such is the pace of growth of this vibrant new industry, such is its momentum, that virtually every continent now has a private circuit in planning, under construction or in operation. By some estimates there are 30 private circuits operating around the world, a number that seems to grow weekly. And it has all happened at breathtaking speed.

Like any new industry, the pioneering developers and operators, and those following in their footsteps, have dealt with common challenges and struggled with similar operational issues as they build their dreams and establish their businesses.

The potential of what they can accomplish together is as exciting as the dramatic designs and appealing facilities they have created.

LIKE SO MANY GREAT IDEAS, THE MOTORSPORTS CLUB OF CLUBS STARTED AS A CONVERSATION.

The bold entrepreneurs creating the new circuits came together and talked. Sprinkled across the globe, they faced the same familiar obstacles: Land acquisition, local zoning hurdles, noise concerns and environmental questions.

While the resolution of the issues in each location was never quite the same, the knowledge gathered by the Tilke team helped solve problems and build solutions. New track developers benefited from the experience of the projects that came before them, and existing tracks learned from the latest designs and technologies. They may have been separated by languages and time zones, but the circuits had much in common.

AN INVITATION TO KNOWLEDGE, EXPERTISE AND PROVEN BUSINESS SUCCESS.

The shared experience of the circuits has built the Motorsports Club of Clubs, and now the wisdom of the members will shape its future. The circuit developers will help capitalize on the international business potential, driven by their customers who seek driving adventure at member circuits around the world. That’s the next horizon for a truly global Motorsports Club of Clubs.

Driving passion, shaping an industry

When we began our work in motorsports design, our focus was on creating the world’s premier circuits — places where speed, engineering, and passion converged on the global stage. But even as we helped shape Formula 1 venues and test tracks across continents, we saw something new and promising taking root: private motorsports circuits built by and for enthusiasts, each one a reflection of personal vision and ambition.

In those early days, the category was still undefined. It was comprised of a collection of bold experiments, each standing alone. We were invited to contribute to a few of these pioneering efforts, learning from each challenge and helping turn unique ideas into operational circuits. At the time, we were being shaped by this emerging space.

Over the past decade, that dynamic has changed. As more circuits were built and new projects emerged, a true business category began to take form, one with shared challenges, common ambitions, and the potential for lasting impact. The idea behind the Motorsports Club of Clubs was born from that shift.
