The circuits may differ but the commitment to excellence of the private circuit members of the Motorsports Club of Clubs is universal.
Now, the Motorsports Club of Clubs is helping these passionate drivers expand their horizons to include extraordinary private circuits near and far. Could an inspired enthusiast visit a dozen exquisite circuits in other locales? Two dozen? The Motorsports Club of Clubs can make that happen.
Many of the world’s passionate driving enthusiasts probably don’t recognize the names of these and the other spectacular new private motorsports circuits appearing around the world — but they soon will.
The growing list of private motorsports circuits is demanding the attention of the motorsport’s world — exclusive, challenging circuits are earning a place in any conversation about “the best racetracks in the world.”
THEIR NAMES MAY BE NEW, BUT THE IMPACT THAT PRIVATE MOTORSPORTS CIRCUITS ARE HAVING HAS ALREADY STRETCHED AROUND THE GLOBE.
Such is the pace of growth of this vibrant new industry, such is its momentum, that virtually every continent now has a private circuit in planning, under construction or in operation. By some estimates there are 30 private circuits operating around the world, a number that seems to grow weekly. And it has all happened at breathtaking speed.
Like any new industry, the pioneering developers and operators, and those following in their footsteps, have dealt with common challenges and struggled with similar operational issues as they build their dreams and establish their businesses.
The potential of what they can accomplish together is as exciting as the dramatic designs and appealing facilities they have created.
The bold entrepreneurs creating the new circuits came together and talked. Sprinkled across the globe, they faced the same familiar obstacles: Land acquisition, local zoning hurdles, noise concerns and environmental questions.
While the resolution of the issues in each location was never quite the same, the knowledge gathered by the Tilke team helped solve problems and build solutions. New track developers benefited from the experience of the projects that came before them, and existing tracks learned from the latest designs and technologies. They may have been separated by languages and time zones, but the circuits had much in common.
The shared experience of the circuits has built the Motorsports Club of Clubs, and now the wisdom of the members will shape its future. The circuit developers will help capitalize on the international business potential, driven by their customers who seek driving adventure at member circuits around the world. That’s the next horizon for a truly global Motorsports Club of Clubs.

We have entered an era of dramatic growth in the world of motorsports. Formula 1 is enjoying a global surge in popularity, exotic and challenging circuits in the middle of cities compete with established tracks to hold prestige events and markets long thought to be too distant or too small have turned into new and colorful homes for fans old and new. You can sense the excitement.
In the midst of all that seismic change, the growth of the industry built around private motorsports circuits stands out. The story has become the talk of the motorsports world; how the first pioneering track developers grasped the changing motorsports landscape, saw the opportunity to bring previously inaccessible driving experiences to a new generation of discerning enthusiasts, and then made it happen. And today, the next wave of private circuit entrepreneurs are taking that concept across the globe, powered by the lessons and shared experiences of the pioneers who came before them.
THE BOLD ENTREPRENEURS AND PASSIONATE ENTHUSIASTS WHO BROUGHT THEIR DREAMS TO LIFE HAVE UNITED UNDER THE BANNER OF THE MOTORSPORTS CLUB OF CLUBS BY TILKE.
No long ago, it would have been a stretch to call private circuits an industry, much less a global one. Today,
there are private circuits planned, under construction or in operation on every continent. The numbers are astounding. In the past three years, the number of Tilke- supported circuits in operation has doubled from seven to 14. An additional four more are under construction with 22 more in the planning phase. More than 6,000 individuals are members of the clubs — a number that grows daily. And while much of the growth has been in America, ambitious projects are taking shape in the Middle East, South Africa, Australia and in several locations in South America. It is conceivable that every major city in the world will one day have a private motorsports circuit.
THE OWNERS OF THE WORLD’S MOST EXCITING CARS ARE AS ENTHUSIASTIC IN NORWAY AS THEY ARE IN CHINA AND MEXICO.
At Tilke, we enjoy a privileged position as designers and engineers, architects and planners, builders and problem-solvers for the committed project developers past and present. But we also have a front-row seat at the confluence of business, engineering, culture and passion. Those lessons we now eagerly share with our customers through the rapidly expanding Motorsports Club of Clubs by Tilke.
More than ever, keeping abreast of the technologies and innovations that are shaping the future of mobility will be essential for operators. The emergence of alternative and environmentally neutral fuels (e-fuels) has added a new element to discussions of sustainability, particularly for the owners of those spectacular classic cars. Similarly, the opportunity to use the circuits’ abundant real estate to generate energy and become contributors to the local grid has implications far beyond just keeping the lights on. Motorsports has always driven innovation; private motorsports circuits have a place in the vanguard of change.
That is why we see the Motorsports Club of Clubs at the center of the convergence of so many influences, trends and innovations. In the popular language of business, the Club of Clubs has become a ‘hub’. Beyond networking and information exchange, the Club of Clubs is now developing tailored driving experiences for the clubs’ members, simulation (E Sports) offerings and driver and track certification, with more programs under development. Track insurance, manufacturer relationships, corporate discounts and other benefits to member clubs through our industry partners represents real value to both established organizations and those following in their footsteps.
